Disproportionately prominent lateral ventricles occipital horns with widely spaced parallel bodies and small frontal horns.

The frontal horn's diameter is about 0.25 cm while the occipital horn's is about 1.4 cm, so the ratio is about 5.6.

Case Discussion

Diagnosis of colpocephaly becomes more likely when the ratio of the posterior horn to anterior horn of lateral ventricle width is ≥3.
