Presentation

Left hip joint pain, decreased mobility. Suspected labral tear - referred for MRI arthrography before arthroscopy.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

MR Arthrography

MR arthrography shows an osseous bulge at the anterior aspect of the left femoral head-neck junction, with an 8-mm herniation pit - cam-type femoroacetabular impingement (FAI).
