Presentation

History of pain and swelling at the left foot since one hour, after a heavy steel object falls on his foot at work, on examination: swelling and tenderness over the dorsal side of the distal end of the left foot.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

X-ray shows comminuted fracture at the proximal phalanx of the left 1st toe with intraarticular extension of both PIP and DIP joints.

Chip fracture at the head of the proximal phalanx of the 2nd toe.

X-ray shows comminuted fracture at the proximal phalanx of the left 1st toe with intraarticular extension of both PIP and DIP joints.

Chip fracture at the head of the proximal phalanx of the 2nd toe.
