Penetrating trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Right common carotid arterial pseudoaneurysm with surrounding soft tissue swelling, emphysema and a skin defect. 

The endotracheal tube is inserted in an appropriate position. 

Ring artifact is evident. 

Case Discussion

The findings in a patient with penetrating neck trauma are compatible with the right common carotid pseudoaneurysm.
