Presentation

Right-sided claudication, iodinated contrast agent allergy.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Female

  • Multiple wall inhomogeneities caused by atherosclerotic plaques buildup in the infrarenal aorta. 
  • Both common iliac arteries also demonstrate irregular signals, on the right a short (about 10 mm long) significant (60-70%) luminal narrowing is visible. 
  • Distal arteries retain normal luminal signal on both sides.
