There is a shadow overlying the right hemithorax parallel to the right scapular medial border, this is likely to represent a companion shadow and is of no clinical significance. Dual chamber pacemaker in situ.
There is in addition a right clavicular companion shadow, while it is absent on the left.
Case Discussion
The absence of a clavicular companion shadow may be normal or may signify adjacent abnormality such as supraclavicular lymph nodes.
