Complete septate uterus

Presentation

Primary infertility.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
MRI

The uterus is moderately enlarged anteverted with two uterine cavities separated by a thick septum of low T2 signal intensity, extending up to the cervix, with flat surface of the fundus.

both ovaries appear normal with small follicles.

Case Discussion

MRI appearance typical of a complete septate uterus (class V according to the American fertility society)
