Shoulder pain and limited movement of uprising the arm

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male

Complete tear of the supraspintus tendon which is retracted medially uncovering the humeral head with subacronial bursal fluid collection. No fatty changes of the muscle could be detected.

Case Discussion

Grade III complete supraspinatus tendon tear with medial tendon retraction.
