Presentation

Abnormal Screening mammogram. No clinical complaints. No family history of breast cancer.

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Female

Breast parenchyma density: There are scattered areas of fibroglandular density (ACR type b).

Findings: In the left breast, at 12 o'clock, there is a round, spiculated, high density mass of 25 mm in diameter.

In the left breast, at 12 o'clock, there is a spiculated, hypoechoic mass of 23 mm in diameter.

Case Discussion

Ultrasound guided biopsy was performed. Histology revealed complex sclerosing papillary lesion and associated ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
