Congenital diaphragmatic hernia

This neonate presented with recurrent episodes of shortness of breath and cyanosis that was initially attributed to bronchiolotis.

Modality: X-ray

Multiple bowel loops occupying the left hemithorax with shift of the heart and mediastinum to the right side.

Modality: X-ray

Post operative X-ray for the same patient.

Ryle tube is seen. 

Case Discussion

A left sided diaphragmatic hernia diagnosed at 2 weeks following a radiograph because of suspected bronchiolitis.
