Numerous pulmonary cysts of variable sizes are seen in the upper lobe of right lung.
The right upper lobe is hyper-inflated with a diffuse hypo-attenuated pattern as well as herniation across the midline with contra-lateral mediastinal shift.
Case Discussion
Congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) usually occurs in one lobe of the lung. According to the cyst size, CPAM is subdivided into five types; the most common type is (type I) which consists of large cysts.
