Case Discussion

Congenital osteogenic scoliosis, often called congenital scoliosis, refers to the scoliosis resulting from vertebral malformations.

In the present case, the vertebral anomaly was a semisegmented hemivertebra caused by a failure of segmentation between T9 and T10.

Lateral inclination spine radiographs evaluate the range of spinal motion and are important in preoperative planning.
