Case Discussion

The patient attended 1 year after a motor vehicle accident complaining of neck and back pain. No obvious traumatic findings but multiple spinal congenital anomalies were noted.

Klippel-Feil syndrome should be considered in light of the multiple anomalies noted. This condition is thought to occur in about 1 in 40,000 with a slight preference for females.
