Contrast extravasation

Evidence of contrast extravasation is noted within the soft tissues of the distal right arm proximal to the anterior cubital fossa with the majority of the contrast being superficially placed and anterior.

CT contrast media extravasation occurs relatively infrequently, but can have severe side effects associated with skin changes and possible skin necrosis
