The contrast media can not be appreciated in the first and second phases so the contrast extravasation was suspected and arm imaging was obtained demonstrates contrast extravasation.
Case Discussion
Contrast extravasation risk factors for our patient were using automated power injection, female sex and inpaient cases.
Early detection of contrast extravasation, stoping the contrast injector and raising the limb as well as applying ice packs will be helpful to minimize the effect.
