Presentation

Sore shoulder after push bike injury.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
X-ray

Fracture through the spine of the scapula which extends to the base of the coracoid process. In addition, there is a further subtle lucency through the base of the acromion processes which may also represent a fracture. The glenohumeral and acromioclavicular joints remain enlocated.

CT

Base of corocoid mildly displaced comminuted fracture extending medially along the superior margin to the superior angle of the scapula. Undisplaced fracture at the base of the acromion.
