Appearances of a coracoid process fracture. 

CT Right Shoulder:

There is a comminuted fracture of the coracoid process, apparently distally to the coracoclavicular ligaments. No other shoulder fractures were seen. The acromioclavicular and glenohumeral joints are enlocated. Imaged right lung appear unremarkable.

Case Discussion

This case illustrates a comminuted fracture of the coracoid process, apparently distally to the coracoclavicular ligaments (type II), that was difficult to pick on the radiographs.
