Undisplaced fracture of the upper part of right scapular body is noted extending to the base of coracoid process with extensive related marrow edema. This is associated with mild edema of the adjacent soft tissues.

Mild right acromioclavicular osteoarthritis is noted with subchondral marrow edema at the clavicular side of the articulation.

Feathery T2 hyperintensity is noted at the myotendinous junction of infraspinatus and teres minor muscles, reflecting grade I myotendinous strain.

Acromion type I identified, with no lateral slopping detected.

Case Discussion

Imaging features show a non-displaced fracture of the base of coracoid process extending to the upper part of the right scapular body.
