Presentation
Behavioral abnormalities.
Patient Data
There is complete agenesis of the corpus callosum with a left parasagittal cyst communicating with the 3rd ventricle suggesting interhemispheric cyst.
The lateral ventricles are widely spaced with mild dilatation of the occipital horns more on the right compatible with mild colpocephaly.
No intracranial lipoma. No evidence of Schizencephaly. No dilatation of temporal horns of lateral ventricles. Normal posterior fossa structures.
Case Discussion
The interhemispheric cyst is a well-known association with corpus callosum agenesis/dysgenesis. It can be communicating or non communicating with the ventricular system.
Unfortunately, no brain MRI is available for this patient.
