MRI sequences demonstrate:
- agenesis of the corpus callosum with parallel lateral ventricles, dilatation of the occipital horns (colpocephaly), high-riding 3rd ventricle, narrow frontal horns, absence of the cingulate sulcus, and widened mid-portion of the interhemispheric fissure
- well-defined interhemispheric cyst slightly hyperintense to the CSF on T1 and FLAIR, and isointense on T2 with no restricted diffusion
- subependymal grey matter heterotopia along the left ventricular margin
