Diagnosis certain

Presentation

Lethargy. Stroke 2 weeks earlier.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male
ct

Laminar gyriform hyperdensity in the right frontal, parietal and temporal lobes, associated with underlying white matter hypodensity, which is consistent with cortical laminar necrosis as a consequence of a right MCA ischemic infarct.

2 weeks earlier

ct

Hypodense areas with loss of grey-white matter differentiation centered at the right basal ganglia, insula, and right frontal and temporal lobes, consistent with MCA ischemic infarct.
