Liver segments in ultrasound, based on Couinaud classification (II, IV, VIII, VI):

  • 1: right hepatic vein
  • 2: intermediate hepatic vein
  • 3: left hepatic vein
  • 4: inferior vena cava

Liver segments in ultrasound based on Couinaud classification:

  • 1: ligamentum teres
  • 2: main lobar fissure
  • 3: branch of portal vein
