Presentation
Cough, shortness of breath, anosmia. rt-PCR positive for Sars-CoV-2 infection.
Patient Data
CT performed at admission shows some bilateral, subpleural and peripheral smooth areas of ground-glass opacities (GGO).
After a few days, due to to a worsening of clinical symptoms, another CT is performed. There is a spread of GGO with large areas of inhomogeneous lungs density. Initial septal thickening is seen as well.
CT shows further evolution of findings. There is a crazy-paving appearance due to GGOs and inter-/intra-lobular septal thickening, some air space consolidations and pleural thickening.
Multiple enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the possible evolution of Sars-CoV-2 infection.
