COVID-19 - CT progression

Presentation

Cough, shortness of breath, anosmia. rt-PCR positive for Sars-CoV-2 infection.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

Day 0

ct

CT performed at admission shows some bilateral, subpleural and peripheral smooth areas of ground-glass opacities (GGO).

Day 5

ct

After a few days, due to to a worsening of clinical symptoms, another CT is performed. There is a spread of GGO with large areas of inhomogeneous lungs density. Initial septal thickening is seen as well.

Day 12

ct

CT shows further evolution of findings. There is a crazy-paving appearance due to GGOs and inter-/intra-lobular septal thickening, some air space consolidations and pleural thickening.

Multiple enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes.
