Presentation

Shortness of breath after COVID-19 pneumonia two months ago.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

On presentation

ct

Bilateral multilobar ground-glass opacities are seen at the lungs with the peripheral and central distributions.

After two months

ct

Diffuse pattern of interstitial thickening with coarse reticular patterns and parenchymal bands causing parenchymal distortion with fibrotic changes.

Case Discussion

With regarding the unknown course of severe pulmonary fibrosis and lung function impairment among some of the patients of COVID-19, the survivors should be closely observed by the radiologists and pulmonary clinicians in order to increased knowledge about the natural course of the disease and achieving of appropriate effective treatments.
