Patches of consolidations involving both lung fields, more significant at the lower fields and peripherally

- widespread areas of ground-glass opacities involving both lung fields most of them are of subpleural location associated with interlobular septal thickening, vascular dilatation, and subpleural bands
- no pleural effusion
- no mediastinal lymphadenopathy
- incidental findings of a simple right renal cortical cyst, and T12 compression fracture
Case Discussion
The CT findings on this case representative by ground-glass opacities, interlobular septal thickening, vascular dilatation, and subpleural bands are almost typical features of COVID 19, with the absence of pleural effusion and mediastinum lymphadenopathy.
PCR was done for the patient after the radiology report advises, and the result was positive.
