Presentation

High-grade fever, chills and shortness of breath for one week.

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

  • dense patchy air space opacities are seen in both lung middle and lower zones
  • diffuse ground-glass opacities are also noted bilaterally
  • no pneumothorax or chest wall emphysema noted

Regression of disease process after six days of therapy.

The patient was discharged home in stable condition.
