Presentation

Covid -19 pneumonia 6 months ago. Recent onset fever and dyspnea since 5 days ago.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

Bilateral multilobar ground-glass opacities are seen at the lungs with the peripheral and central distributions.

Diffuse pattern of interstitial thickening with parenchymal and subpleural bands causing parenchymal distortion with fibrotic changes.

Bronchiectasis changes are seen at the right upper lobe anterior segment and right middle lobe medial and lateral segments.

Case Discussion

The RT-PCR COVID-19 assay was positive again, so this patient was deemed to have COVID-19 pneumonia reinfection.
