Known case of COVID-19 pneumonia with a positive PCR test.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

Chest CT at admission

Multilobar and bilateral ground‐glass opacities and consolidations are seen in both lungs, mostly in mid to lower lungs, although all lobes are affected, with a peripheral subpleural distribution. 

After 3 weeks

Resolution of consolidations​

Multilobar and bilateral ground‐glass opacities at the site of resolved consolidations

No subpleural lines, fibrosis, and parenchymal distortion. 

Case Discussion

The recent patient admitted to the hospital with respiratory distress and a toxic appearance. with supportive and intravenous remdesivir treatments, the patients gradually improved and discharged 10 days later. Follow up chest CT scan after 3 weeks showed markedly radiological improvement along with the clinical situation as well.
