Craniofacial fibrous dysplasia

Loss of the normal corticomedullary differentiation replaced by thickened and heterogeneous bone that produces expansion of the skull and facial bones. The cortical bone is intact.
Brain parenchyma seems to be normal.
Case Discussion
McCune-Albright syndrome is characterized by endocrine, bone and cutaneous affection. In this case, there is a patient with craniofacial fibrous dysplasia a subtype of the fibrous dysplasia spectrum, which involves skull and facial bones. Fibrous dysplasia seems to be the most common component of McCune Albright syndrome.
