Abnormal shape of the face

Patient Data

Age: 11 years
Gender: Male

Expansile bony lesion involving the right frontal bone with no cortical breach. It shows ground-glass internal matrix with widened diploic space.

No other bones involved.

Normal appearance of the brain and orbital contents.

Case Discussion

This is a very typical case of fibrous dysplasia seen in as a monostotic lesion in a well-known location for this pathology with the typical appearance of ground-glass attenuation and matching with the age group of the patient.
