Presentation

Sudden onset headache.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

MRI of the brain demonstrates a large heterogeneous mass located in the suprasellar region, narrowing the foramen of Monro causing dilation of the left lateral ventricle.

Heterogeneous contrast enhancement after paramagnetic injection.

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a resection.

Histological diagnosis: adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma.
