Cystic suprasellar tumor with peripheral calcification. Appearances most likely represent craniopharyngioma.

Cystic peripherally enhancing suprasellar tumor. No other abnormality.
Case Discussion
The patient went on to have a resection.
Histology
Crushed pituitary tissue.
Tumor is composed of basaloid cells with palisaded epithelium at the edges.
Numerous cystic spaces containing squamous debris together with an arrangement of epithelium and trabeculae surrounding areas of wet keratin. There is extensive calcification and areas of hemorrhage.
Adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma WHO Grade 1.
