Pain in the medial aspect of the right femur after 3 weeks of slipping in the bathroom.

Subchondral lucency seen at proximal right femoral head

Case Discussion

The crescent sign of AVN is seen on conventional radiographs and refers to a subchondral lucency seen most frequencly anterolateral aspect of the proximal femoral head.
