Crossed feet

Case contributed by Craig Hacking
Diagnosis not applicable
x-ray

All 10 metatarsals and all 28 phalanges are intact on this single view. The right first MTP joint is degenerative. The well defined subchondral lucent lesion in the lateral aspect of the right first proximal phalanx is likely a geode associated with the adjacent MTP joint degeneration.

Case Discussion

Clearly the patient was relaxed during this Xray.
