Kidneys show abnormal positions noted at and after aortic bifurcation, at which both kidneys are malrotated, with the right kidney appearing to cross to the midline and being fused to the lower pole of the left kidney, forming an L-shaped kidney. No renal stones or backpressure changes.
Features are suggesting crossed fused renal ectopia.
Case Discussion
A simple case represents crossed fused renal ectopia, type E (L-shaped kidney).
