Presentation

History of ventriculoperitoneal shunt insertion for hydrocephalus. Now complains of headache. His physician suspects shunt obstruction.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
ct

Right VP shunt. Slit-like 3rd and lateral ventricles. Distended dural venous sinuses. Findings are impressive of intracranial hypotension secondary to CSF overshunting.
