Bone marrow edema and a subtle fracture line are seen at the base of the cuboid.
Bone marrow edema also is seen at the talar neck.
Minimal effusion is noted at the ankle joint.
Case Discussion
This patient referred with the history of persisting pain on the lateral side of the foot despite anti-inflammatory treatment. Imaging findings are compatible with a stress fracture.
