Large lytic lesion (6.7 x 4 x 3.6 cm) containing enhancing soft tissues and air in the right mandibular ramus and body with erupted tooth inside.
There is cortical disruption of the lateral wall of the lesion with evidence of fistula to the submandibular cutaneous region.
Rest of the facial bones are normal.
Note is made for mucoperiosteal thickening of left maxillary and left ethmoid air cells.
Case Discussion
Unfortunately pathologic results of the lesion are not available.
The possible diagnosis based on the radiologic features can be be dentigerous cyst, odontogenic keratocyst and less likely amelobalstoma (as not usual in this age).
