Case Discussion

The classic chest radiographic findings of cystic fibrosis include:

Bronchiectasis (manifested by ring shadows and tram track opacities), hyperinflation, bronchial thickening and dilatation, peribronchial cuffing, mucoid impaction, cystic radiolucencies, increase in interstitial markings, and scattered nodular densities.
