Cystic hygroma - chest wall

Presentation

Soft, painless mass in right axilla and chest wall since birth, gradually increasing in size.

Patient Data

Age: 1 year
Gender: Male
MRI

There is a well defined, lobulated, multicenteric septated lesion in right axilla, extend down to chest wall. It appears homogenously hyperintense T2W, shows no enhancement, not restricted diffusion.

Case Discussion

Cystic hygroma also known as cystic lymphangioma is a benign congenital lymphatic malformation.
