Cystic lymphangioma of the neck

A relatively large thin wall, well defined cystic lesion with some thin internal septa axial width up to 40 x 22 mm and height up to 53 mm and minimal wall and septal enhancement in the right side of the neck interposed internal jugular vein, posterior margin of the submandibular gland and medial margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle is seen. The cyst has a mild impression on the related structures.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the contrast enhanced neck MDCT features of the pathologically proved cystic lymphangioma of the neck. The major differential diagnosis of the lesion is 2nd branchial cleft cyst.
