There is a well-defined collection with a wall (2-3 mm) in the region of interest. It is in muscle. It measurea about 50 x 35 x 20 mm. There are internal tiny echoes in this collection. In cranial part of the collection; there is another thin walled anechoic cyst ( about 15 x 12 mm ) containing an echogenic focus (3 mm).
There is no elbow joint effusion.
Findings favour intramuscular abscess formation involving elbow. Presence of anechoic cyst with scolex in the abscess / collection favours cysticercosis.
