Classic features of cysticercosis involving the right masseter muscle.
Case Discussion
Our patient did not have any evidence of disseminated disease. Extensive literature review revealed only three cases reported, with two in patients with disseminated cysticercosis. Our case is unique in that the scolex was well demonstrated, and that there was no evidence of the disease elsewhere in the body.
