Presentation
Known case of BPH with obstructive uropathy, urosepsis and acute on top of chronic kidney disease.
Patient Data

increased renal parenchymal echogenicity and moderate hydronephrosis bilaterally. Partially visualised proximal ureters are also dilated.
enlarged prostate gland.
diffuse, irregular thickened urinary bladder walls with multiple small focal cystic lesions.
fluid-debris level in the urinary bladder.

bilateral moderate hydroureteronephrosis with mild bilateral cortical thinning. One cyst in either kidney, with the cyst seen on right side being hyperdense. No radiopaque calculi are seen in the kidneys, ureters and urinary bladder.
distended urinary bladder with thick trabeculated walls containing multiple cystic structures.
enlarged prostate gland bulging into the bladder.
degenerative changes in the visualised spine.
Case Discussion
Enlarged prostate gland with obstructive uropathy and distended urinary bladder with thick trabeculated walls containing multiple cystic structures; these findings are suggestive of cystitis cystica.
