Case Discussion
De Quervain tenosynovitis is a painful condition affecting the tendons of the thumb (extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus). Tendon sheath and septa thickening with hypervascularity is seen on ultrasound as a hallmark finding, as observed in this patient.
