Doppler ultrasound demonstrates the common femoral and femoral vein to be distended, not compressible, and filled by heterogenous hypoechogenic material without flow.
Case Discussion
This case aims to show the typical appearances of DVT on ultrasound: a distended and non-compressible vein that is filled with some echogenic thrombi without signs of flow on Doppler.
