Presentation

One week pain and swelling in the left lower limb

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

The common femoral, superficial femoral and popliteal veins are seen filled with mild echogenic thrombus and uncompressible, features of acute deep vein thrombosis.

Long saphenous vein confluence is seen with flow present.
