Case Discussion

Most jugular bulbs lie below the hypotympanum. A dehiscent jugular bulb is a high riding jugular bulb in contact with the middle-ear cavity through a dehiscent sigmoid plate.

In most cases it is asymptomatic, however, in some cases, patients may suffer tinnitus and other hearing/vestibular disorders.
