Visual observation of the in-air reverberation pattern reveals a subtle peripheral nonuniformity manifesting as focal inhomogeneity of the reverberation lines.
Delamination defects are more subtle than complete dropouts, and are rarely noticeable without close inspection of the reverberation pattern.
