Age: 5 years
Gender: Male

According to the Greulich and Pyle radiographic atlas of skeletal development of the hand and wrist, approximate bone age is 2 years with a standard deviation of +/- 4 months. (Patient's exact chronological age = 5 years).

Case Discussion

The patient has constitutional delay and short stature, this plain radiograph was the first investigation done for assessment and revealed delayed bone age in relation to the chronological age.
